About Andrew D
Andrew D Grosvenor took a steady, practical route into the law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in 2013, after beginning his legal studies in 2010. The curriculum at Vermont Law School emphasized rigorous legal writing and environmental and public interest perspectives, which shaped his early approach to legal problems.
After graduation, Grosvenor entered private practice. He built his day-to-day work around client intake, case preparation and courtroom work. Colleagues describe him as attentive to detail and methodical in the way he prepares matters for trial or settlement. He learned the rhythms of litigation and client counseling in an environment where responsiveness and clarity mattered.
Over time his caseload covered the kinds of issues that bring people and businesses to outside counsel: disputes that required careful fact gathering, negotiation and occasional motion practice. He handled filings, discovery, and client meetings. He also spent time drafting pleadings and briefs, then presenting arguments before judges. That work gave him a practical sense of how cases move through the system.
Grosvenor later joined Orr & Reno, a firm that serves a range of regional clients. At Orr & Reno he became part of a team that handles matters spanning several practice areas. His role has involved coordinating with colleagues, advising clients on procedural choices, and preparing cases for trial when necessary. He has worked in both preparatory and advocacy capacities, often managing the details that keep a matter on track.
Outside formal filings and hearings, Grosvenor has taken opportunities to refine his skills through continuing legal education and peer collaboration. He values clear communication with clients and tries to translate legal concepts into plain language during consultations. Those conversations often determine the tactical choices made in a case, and he pays close attention to client goals when advising on next steps.
He practices from Orr & Reno’s offices and participates in the firm’s collaborative approach to client service. His current practice focuses on representing clients through the types of civil matters handled by his firm.
