About Andrew
Andrew Cherkasky began his academic path at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in 2003. He moved on to Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology and earned his Juris Doctor in 2006. Those years set the groundwork for a career that has crossed military and civilian practice.
After law school, Cherkasky served as a judge advocate in the United States Air Force in 2007. The role placed him inside a military legal system that values quick judgment and careful record-keeping. He handled responsibilities common to military counsel, gaining experience in litigation and appellate procedures while working within the demands of service.
Cherkasky's civilian career took a managerial turn in 2012 when he became CEO of Golden Law, Inc. That move put him in charge of day-to-day operations as well as the firm’s strategic direction. He has balanced leadership duties with casework, applying the procedural rigor from his military years to firm management and client matters.
He is admitted to practice in both Illinois and California. Cherkasky also holds membership in the Bar of the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, an affiliation that reflects his continuing connection to military appellate work. His involvement in professional circles includes an honorary membership in the American Trial Lawyers Association, listed as current, and a role as an honorary judge for the Chicago-Kent College of Law Trial Advocacy Team in 2012.
