About Andrew B.

Andrew B. Clawson built his legal foundation in Utah. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Utah in 2000 and completed his Juris Doctor at Brigham Young University in 2004. Those years set a course toward practice in state courts and matters that often touch ordinary people's finances.

He began his professional career the year he graduated law school. In 2004 he joined Prince Yeates & Geldzahler as an associate. The role gave him early exposure to litigation and client counseling inside a regional firm. After several years there, he moved to private practice and later established his own firm.

In 2010 he formed the Law Office of Andrew B. Clawson, PC and has served as its owner and president. The following year he took on a role as a bankruptcy lawyer at Pearson Butler & Carson, PLLC. That experience added institutional bankruptcy practice to the mix of work he handled as a solo practitioner. Over time his caseload has included personal and business financial matters and courtroom appearances tied to insolvency proceedings.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing files and clear in explaining options to clients. He has handled cases that required negotiation with creditors and appearances in bankruptcy court. Those tasks have become a practical through-line in his career rather than an academic specialty.

Clawson maintains membership in professional associations, and he continues to work within Utah's legal community. He has balanced the demands of running a small firm with the practical requirements of representing clients in contested and noncontested matters. His work combines client intake, document preparation, and courtroom advocacy when cases proceed to hearing.

His office operates from an address on South Redwood Road. In running his practice he has managed both the administrative and the legal sides of serving individuals and small businesses. He has experience moving files from initial consultation to resolution, whether by negotiated settlement or through the court process.

He currently maintains a private practice at 8819 S Redwood Rd, Ste A2 and concentrates on bankruptcy and related matters.
