About Andrea Lynn
Andrea Lynn Kushner was a dedicated estate planning attorney based in Los Angeles, California. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1997. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1993. In 2005, she furthered her expertise by obtaining a Master of Laws in Taxation from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Throughout her career, Andrea specialized in estate planning, probate, and tax law, providing comprehensive legal services to her clients.
In 2015, Andrea joined Bernstein Private Wealth Management as a director and senior vice president. She worked closely with clients and their professional advisors to develop comprehensive wealth management and wealth transfer strategies. Before her tenure at Bernstein, she was a shareholder at Weinstock Manion, ALC, and a partner at Karlin & Peebles LLP, advising high-net-worth clients on estate, tax, and charitable planning. Her experience in these areas made her a trusted advisor in the field. Andrea was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1997.
She was certified as a specialist in both taxation law and estate planning, trust, and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Her professional affiliations included the Beverly Hills Bar Association. She served on the executive committee of the trusts and estates section, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where she was a member of both the taxation and trusts and estates sections. She also served on the executive committee of the taxation section of the State Bar of California and was a former chair of the taxation section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Throughout her career, Andrea was recognized for her contributions to the legal community.
She was named a Southern California Rising Star and a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine. Her expertise and dedication to her clients and the legal profession left a lasting impact on those she worked with. Andrea passed away on October 18, 2022. She is survived by her two children, Benjamin and Carrie, her father Sheldon, and her brother Allen. Her legacy continues to inspire those in the legal and financial planning fields.
