About Amie
Amie Wright built her path to the law from classrooms to courtrooms in the Midwest. She completed a bachelor’s degree in history at Butler University in 2012 and went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2015. Those years framed her early interest in public affairs and legal process.
After law school she began practicing in Ohio. Over the past decade she has worked from multiple regional offices of Shur Law Co., LPA, meeting clients in urban and suburban settings. Her work takes her to offices in Hyde Park, downtown Cincinnati, Blue Ash, West Chester, Northern Kentucky, Louisville, Akron and Chagrin Highlands. She operates within a firm that maintains a broad presence across the state and nearby Kentucky communities.
Wright maintains active professional membership in legal associations and participates in the networks that keep local practitioners connected. She has handled matters that require steady client communication and coordination across offices. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing files and attentive when explaining options to people who are facing unfamiliar legal processes.
Her early career years coincided with several changes in the regional legal market, including shifts in court procedures and client service models. Wright adapted by balancing in-person consultations with remote follow-up when appropriate. She has continued to develop courtroom experience and client service skills as cases and client needs have evolved.
The combination of a liberal arts undergraduate degree and formal legal training influences how she approaches problems. Wright leans on historical perspective to frame factual issues and uses doctrinal study to support legal arguments. That mix informs her written work and oral presentations in negotiations and hearings.

Her practice remains centered in Ohio, and she represents clients from the firm’s regional offices across the state and into Kentucky.
As of 2026 she continues to serve clients through Shur Law Co., LPA, practicing from the firm’s Ohio and Northern Kentucky offices and concentrating her work on serving individuals and businesses through those regional locations.
