About Ami

Ami Zukowsky built her legal training at Yeshiva University, earning her Juris Doctor in 2013 after concentrating on litigation and family law. Her time in law school set a practical course. She studied courtroom process and family court practice. Those subjects remain central to her work.

After law school, Zukowsky entered practice in Ohio. She secured admission to the Ohio bar and later extended her courtroom reach by gaining admission to three federal districts: the Western District of Pennsylvania, and both the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. Those admissions allow her to handle cases in state and federal forums. They also reflect a practice that straddles domestic matters and civil litigation.

Early casework for Zukowsky included contested custody and divorce matters alongside routine civil litigation. She gained experience guiding clients through hearings, discovery, and settlement negotiations. The record does not rely on sensational claims. Instead, it shows steady courtroom work and an emphasis on practical case management.

Colleagues describe her approach as direct. She frames legal options plainly and sets clear procedural expectations. In family law matters she deals with custody disputes, property division, support calculations and related hearings. In civil litigation she handles filings and motions in state court and prepares federal filings when a case requires it. Her background in litigation informs her strategy in family law, especially in contested cases that require careful evidentiary work.

Zukowsky formed Zukowsky Law LLC to provide an office base for her practice. At the firm she represents individuals in family court and clients who need representation in civil matters that may progress to federal court. She runs a compact practice that balances courtroom appearances with case preparation and client communication.

She is active in managing case timelines and tends to favor clear, pragmatic solutions over prolonged litigation when a negotiated outcome better serves a client's needs. That does not mean every matter settles. Many cases proceed to hearings and trial preparation; some move to the federal district courts where she holds admission.

As of 2026, Zukowsky practices from Zukowsky Law LLC in Ohio. Her caseload centers on family law and civil litigation matters handled in Ohio state courts and in the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, as well as the Western District of Pennsylvania.
