About Amber
Amber Crawford earned her law degree from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2017 after completing undergraduate studies at Columbus State University, where she received a B.B.A. in 2009. She entered law school following a period of study that began in 2014, and finished a three-year program that prepared her for litigation and transactional practice.
She began her legal career in 2017 as an associate at Mann & Wooldridge, P.C., working on matters that spanned probate, estate administration and related litigation. Those early years gave her exposure to courtroom procedure and the practical demands of advising clients during difficult family transitions. The role involved a combination of document drafting, client counseling and appearances in state probate courts.
In 2020 she joined Hall Booth Smith, P.C. as an associate. There she continued to handle estate and elder law matters, while also taking on appellate work and federal filings where appropriate. Her practice at Hall Booth Smith placed her in both transactional and contested matters. She has worked on guardianships, estate planning documents and contested probate issues, often coordinating with financial advisors and healthcare professionals.
Crawford holds admissions to multiple tribunals. She is licensed in Georgia and is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia and the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia. Her federal admissions include the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Those credentials allow her to represent clients at both the trial and appellate levels.
Outside of casework she has been active in professional organizations. Since 2020 she has been a member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers. She has also served in leadership in the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division as Co-Chair of the Estate and Elder Law Committee, a role she assumed in 2019. In those positions she has participated in panels, assisted with continuing legal education programs and worked on outreach aimed at young practitioners.
Her practice today is based at Hall Booth Smith, P.C., where she continues to handle estate administration, guardianship matters and contested probate issues. She maintains courtroom experience and appellate practice, representing clients in state and federal forums. Her current practice centers on estate and elder law matters.
