About Amanda M.
Amanda M. Zannoni built a steady legal trajectory out of a foundation in psychology and law. She earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of New England in 2012 and completed her J.D. at Syracuse University College of Law in 2017. While at Syracuse she also completed a Certificate in Estate Planning, an academic credential that informed several of her early clinical and clerkship experiences.
During law school Zannoni combined classroom study with practical work. She served as a student lawyer in Syracuse’s Elder Law Clinic and spent time as a law clerk at the National Fair Housing Alliance. She also worked as a legal intern at Furey, Doolan & Abell, LLP. Those roles gave her experience on client files and in advocacy settings before she took her first positions after law school.
After graduating, Zannoni worked as a research associate at First Nations Bank of Wheaton in 2017. She entered private practice in 2018 as an associate at Mirabella Kincaid Frederick & Mirabella, where she handled a range of matters for that firm’s clients. In 2020 she joined Rathje Woodward LLC as an associate and, in 2024, became a partner there. The progression reflects a steady rise through increasingly responsible roles in litigation and firm practice.
Zannoni is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She has been a member of the Illinois Bar Association since 2017 and holds memberships in several local organizations, including the DuPage County Bar Association and the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers, both of which she joined in 2018.
Beyond membership, Zannoni has taken on leadership posts. She served as treasurer of the Justinian Society of Lawyers, DuPage Chapter, in 2020–2021 and then as its president for 2023–2024. She was secretary of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers from 2021–2024 and previously served on the boards of both the DuPage County Bar Association and the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers during 2019–2021. She was also a member of the Robert E. Jones Chapter of the American Inns of Court in 2018–2019.
Colleagues describe her as methodical and service-oriented in her approach to client work. She combines her background in psychology, her estate-planning training, and courtroom experience to handle matters brought before state and federal tribunals. Zannoni practices at Rathje Woodward LLC, representing clients in matters filed in Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
