About Amanda M.
Amanda M. Rokita trained for law in two very different academic settings. She earned a B.A. from Columbia College in 2011 and completed her J.D. at Southwestern University School of Law in 2016. Those years set the foundation for a career that moved quickly from associate roles into private practice.
She was admitted to practice in California and is also authorized to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. A year after law school, she launched her own firm. In 2017 she established Rokita Law P.C., where she serves as owner and lead attorney.
Running a small firm has shaped how she handles cases. She oversees case strategy, client contact and day-to-day operations. Colleagues note that early responsibility required her to combine courtroom preparation with practical office management. That balance informs the way she prepares for hearings and manages client expectations.
Rokita’s professional involvement extends beyond her firm. She volunteers with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. She is a member of the Womens Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Since 2019 she has held membership in the Los Angeles County Bar Association and she has served on the founding board of Lawyers and Communities Together.
Those memberships have kept her engaged in local legal networks and community-oriented projects. She has used volunteer work to stay connected to public-interest issues while maintaining a private practice. The combination of public service and private practice has influenced how she allocates resources at her firm and the matters she accepts.
Clients and peers describe Rokita as pragmatic and direct in communication. She tends to break complex legal questions into clear, manageable steps. She prepares thoroughly for court and for client meetings, and she maintains an active role in the Los Angeles legal community through both volunteer work and bar association activity.
She continues to lead Rokita Law P.C., and her current practice focuses on representing clients in matters in California and in the Central District of California.
