About Amanda
Amanda Baggett combines a journalism background and three decades of work in law that began after law school in the early 2000s. She studied journalism and advertising at the University of Georgia, earning a B.A. in 2000. She then went on to Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2003. Those years gave her a grounding in communication and an entry into legal practice.
Her early career included a move into private practice, and she served as a shareholder at Rogers Towers beginning in 2004. That role placed her in a firm environment handling a variety of civil matters. Over time she shifted her practice toward civil litigation connected to construction and personal injury issues. Her experience in firm settings preceded her later work leading a boutique practice devoted to injury claims.
She holds Board Certification in Construction Law from The Florida Bar. That credential signals an established record handling disputes involving contractors, subcontractors, contracts, lien claims and related litigation. She has also handled personal injury matters, representing individuals in claims arising from accidents and negligence. Her caseload has included both trial work and negotiated resolutions.
Baggett is active in local and statewide legal organizations. She maintains membership in the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Jacksonville Association of Women Lawyers. She is also a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association. These affiliations reflect regular engagement with peers, continuing education and local legal networks.
Her current practice operates under the name Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers. The firm maintains multiple offices, including a main office, a downtown location and an office in Ponte Vedra. She practices in Florida and remains involved in matters that intersect construction law and personal injury litigation. Her work combines courtroom experience, claims handling and counseling for clients pursuing damages or resolving construction disputes.
She currently practices at Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers, where her practice centers on personal injury and construction law matters.
