About Allison Luck

Allison Luck Bridges built a path to law that began in two academic disciplines. She earned a B.S. in political science and psychology from Christopher Newport University in 2003. She went on to study law at the University of Richmond School of Law, where she completed her J.D. with a concentration in family law.

Her early interest in how institutions and human behavior intersect pushed her toward cases that touch on people’s private lives. After law school she entered practice in Virginia and has maintained her license to practice there. Over the years she has worked inside the courtroom and at counsel tables, handling disputes that often require both legal detail and careful client communication.

Bridges has been active in the local bar community. She is a member of the Henrico County Bar Association and the Richmond Metro Family Law Bar Association. She has also been affiliated with the Hanover County Bar Association since 2011. Those memberships have kept her connected to colleagues and to developments in local practice.

Her professional experience centers on family law. She has handled matters that include divorce, custody, visitation, and support. Her work asks for legal analysis and practical problem solving. She prepares pleadings, negotiates settlements, and appears in court when cases cannot be resolved by agreement. She approaches each matter by assessing both the legal positions and the human stakes involved.

Colleagues describe her as thorough in preparation and steady in court. Clients often face stressful decisions. She breaks down complex legal steps and explains options that the court process will present. She also works on drafting agreements and reviewing financial disclosures, tasks that require attention to detail as well as an understanding of family dynamics.

Bridges practices at Parcell & Webb, P.C., where she handles a range of family law matters from initial filings through contested hearings. She maintains ties to the Richmond legal community through bar association activity and regular participation in local practice groups. Her practice continues to emphasize family law, including divorce, child custody and support matters.
