About Allen
Allen Blake grew up studying government and public affairs before turning to the law. He earned a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 and completed his legal education at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2011. Those years framed a trajectory from classroom debate to client advocacy.
He began his legal career in a small firm setting. In 2012 he joined The Law Offices of Jason Trumpler as an associate. The role offered hands-on exposure to daily courtroom work and client counseling. He spent that period building practical skills and learning how to manage casework under experienced supervision.
A year later he struck out on his own. In 2013 he formed the Law Office of Allen Blake, P.C., taking on the responsibilities of owner and principal attorney. Running a solo practice meant doing more than legal analysis. It required business decisions, client intake, docket management and the steady work of maintaining client relationships.
In 2017 his career took another turn when he became a partner at Blake & Blake LLP. The partnership marked a shift from sole proprietorship to shared leadership within a firm structure. That move expanded the administrative duties he carried while increasing the pool of resources available to clients. He has practiced primarily in Texas throughout his career and base his work on state rules and procedures.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the courtroom and careful in preparation. He favors clear, direct arguments and emphasizes responsiveness to clients’ concerns. He has navigated matters that require attention to procedural detail and an ability to explain legal issues in plain language. Those traits inform how he approaches both contested hearings and negotiated resolutions.
Outside of court filings and client meetings, he has handled the day-to-day operations common to running a law practice. That experience includes supervising support staff, overseeing case budgets and coordinating with expert witnesses and opposing counsel when cases require it. The combination of solo practice experience and later partnership gives him perspective on different practice settings and client needs.
He currently practices at Blake & Blake LLP, representing clients in matters governed by Texas law.
