About Alexis

Alexis Berg-Townsend has built a steady career in Pennsylvania law, combining courtroom experience with an active role in local bar governance. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the Federal Circuit, and she holds a certification from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court recognizing her as a workers' compensation specialist.

Her academic path began at Ohio State University in Columbus, where she studied political science. She earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology from Tiffin University in 2000. She later attended Ohio Northern University College of Law, completing her J.D. in 2006 after beginning law school in 2003. The sequence of studies gave her exposure to both the policy side of government and the practical skills of courtroom advocacy.

Berg-Townsend entered private practice immediately after law school. In 2006 she worked at the Law Office of George A. Berg, where she handled a range of matters that helped her develop litigation and client-management skills. Those early years provided repeated access to hearings and negotiations, and to the procedural framework that governs workers' compensation claims in Pennsylvania.

In 2015 she joined Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo as a partner. The move placed her in a firm known locally for handling workplace injury and related civil matters. At the firm she continued to represent employers and insurers, and she also handled contested proceedings and administrative hearings. Her admission to the Federal Circuit supports representation on matters that require appellate practice beyond the state level.

Outside the office she has been active in the Lehigh County Bar Association. Since 2016 she has served on the board of directors, participating in programs and discussions that shape court procedure and access to legal services in the county. The board role keeps her engaged with changes in state law and with the legal community’s response to those changes.

Her credential as a Certified Workers' Compensation Specialist comes from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. That certification is awarded after evaluation of experience and testing. It signals an emphasis in her career on workers' compensation law and related administrative advocacy.

Her office is listed at 352 Fifth Street. Alexis Berg-Townsend practices primarily in workers' compensation matters in Pennsylvania and handles related appellate work when cases require higher-court review.
