About Alexandra
Alexandra Miller earned a law graduate credential from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where her studies included Public Interest Law and Criminal Law. She began her higher education at Loyola College, receiving a B.B.A. in Accounting. That combination of legal study and financial training informs how she approaches complex casework.
She is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland, before the 4th Circuit, and in the United States Federal District Courts. Those admissions have allowed her to represent clients in both trial and appellate settings. Early in her career she joined Robinson & Associates as a lawyer and has handled matters that required courtroom presence as well as written advocacy.
Miller’s practice blends criminal matters and public interest issues. She has worked on criminal defense cases in state and federal court. She also has experience on matters that intersect with regulatory and financial questions, where her accounting background proves useful in evaluating records and explaining them to judges and juries. Her work has included pretrial investigation, motion practice, plea negotiations, and trial preparation.
Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She prepares evidence carefully and builds cases step by step. In appellate matters she has assisted in drafting briefs and preparing records for review. In client meetings she aims to break down complex legal and financial points into clear, practical terms so that people can make informed choices about their cases.
At Robinson & Associates she continues to take on cases in Maryland and in the federal courts that serve the region. She balances trial work and written advocacy and represents clients across a range of criminal and public interest matters. Her current practice concentrates on criminal defense and public interest cases in state and federal forums.
