About Alexandra

Alexandra Campbell belongs to a generation of lawyers who arrived in the profession after careful thought about public life and policy. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy at Salem State College in 2014, then returned to school for a law degree at Massachusetts School of Law, earning her J.D. in 2022. The combination of an undergraduate focus on policy and a recent legal education shapes how she approaches problems.

Her legal training in the early 2020s took place against a backdrop of shifting local rules and fast-moving regulatory changes. Those years in school coincided with practical experiences that often arise in modern law education, and she emerged prepared to work in Massachusetts courts and agencies. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and has practiced within the state since completing her degree.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in research and straightforward in legal writing. She tends to favor clear explanations over ornate filings. That approach reflects her undergraduate study of policy, where complex ideas must be translated for the public and for decision makers. In practice she applies that same clarity to pleadings, briefs and client communications.

Campbell’s work spans the variety of matters a Massachusetts-licensed attorney might encounter. She has experience navigating state procedural rules and addressing issues in both trial and administrative settings. Much of her work involves interpreting state statutes and regulations and advising clients on how those rules affect everyday decisions. She has handled hearings and filings where an attention to local procedure mattered as much as the underlying legal theory.

She brings a pragmatic mindset to client matters. That does not mean short-term fixes. Rather, she evaluates options in light of how legal outcomes will play out in practical terms for people and organizations. Her background in public policy informs that perspective. It also helps when cases touch on regulatory or compliance questions that sit at the intersection of law and public administration.

Today she practices law in Massachusetts. Her current practice concentrates on representing individuals and organizations in matters of Massachusetts state law.
