About Alexander Laszlo
Alexander Laszlo Pal took a steady, conventional route into law. He earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University in 2003, then completed his J.D. at Cleveland State University College of Law in 2006. Those years shaped his early interest in courtroom practice and in cases that hinge on facts and witness testimony.
After law school he entered private practice in the Cleveland area. He began as a law clerk in 2008 at Mark J. Obral & Associates. The following year he moved into an associate role at Obral, Silk & Associates, LLC. He gained trial exposure and handled client intake, discovery and courtroom preparation. In 2010 he secured admission to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. That federal admission expanded the types of matters he could litigate.
Pal became a partner in 2020. He holds partnership roles at Obral, Silk & Pal Personal Injury Lawyers in Cleveland and at OSP Injury and Car Accident Lawyers in Akron. The shift from associate to partner reflects a deeper role in case strategy, client management and mentoring younger attorneys. He remains active in the regional legal community and in professional groups that center on trial work.
Professional memberships chart that community involvement. Pal has been a member of The Ohio State Bar Association since 2006. He joined the Ohio Association for Justice and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Lawyers in 2009. Those memberships tie him to continuing education and to networks of lawyers who handle contested civil matters.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in document review and direct in deposition settings. He handles personal injury cases that include automobile collisions, wrongful death claims and serious-injury litigation. Much of his time is spent on pretrial investigation, negotiating settlements and preparing cases for trial when settlement is not possible.
Pal’s practice is rooted in Cleveland and Akron courts, and he is familiar with the judges and local procedures that affect case timelines. He balances casework with administrative duties that come with partnership, including supervising staff and coordinating case intake across both offices.
He continues to live and work in northeastern Ohio and maintains active bar membership and federal court admission. He now practices personal injury and car-accident litigation.
