About Alex
Alex Jean built a foundation in law long before taking the oath. They earned a B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and followed that with a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. The academic path combined classroom study with practical training and set the stage for a practice rooted in procedure and advocacy.
After law school Jean joined the bar community in Florida and extended admission to the federal bench. They are a member of The Florida Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. That dual standing lets Jean move between state and federal forums when a client’s situation requires it.
Jean's professional journey has included work at LJ Law Group, where they handle a range of matters on behalf of individuals and businesses. At the firm, Jean manages filings, argues motions, and prepares cases for court. Colleagues describe Jean as deliberate in preparation and straightforward in court. Clients who prefer clear explanations find that approach useful when legal issues grow technical.
Outside the office Jean maintains commitments that reach into the community. They serve as a mentor with A Father s Heart Program, guiding younger people through education and career planning. The mentoring role is regular and active. It reflects a practical view of public service: offer time, provide perspective, and help others find a path forward.
Jean’s work spans both litigation and counseling. They draft pleadings and briefs, handle client counseling, and attend hearings at the federal level when matters require it.
