About Albert R.
Albert R. Jordan earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2005. He completed his legal education in a program known for its emphasis on trial skills and practical learning. After law school he established his practice in Mississippi, where he is licensed to practice law.
Jordan's early recorded firm affiliation dates to 2013, when he worked as a lawyer at Carter & Jordan, PLLC. During that period he handled matters typical of a general practice firm and developed courtroom experience. His time at Carter & Jordan helped him build a foundation in litigation and client counseling.
In 2021 Jordan joined Healy & Jordan, PLLC as a lawyer. The move marked the next phase of his practice life, moving into a firm that lists him among its attorneys. At Healy & Jordan he continued to handle contested matters and appear in court on behalf of clients. His practice there brought him into regular contact with local and state courts across the region.
Jordan maintains memberships in a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the Harrison County Bar Association and the Jackson County Bar Association. He also belongs to national and regional groups, including the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Mississippi Association for Justice, and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. His membership in the American Association of Premier DUI Lawyers points toward handling driving-under-the-influence matters alongside other courtroom work. These associations reflect an interest in trial practice and related procedural advocacy.
Locally active, Jordan participates in county-level bar groups while remaining connected to national trial organizations. That mix keeps him plugged into developments in trial strategy and state law. He practices at Healy & Jordan, PLLC and represents clients in trial litigation and DUI matters as part of his current work.
