About Alan
Alan Neufeld trained first as a business student and then as a lawyer. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Syracuse University in 1972 and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Miami in 1975. Those years set a straight course from finance into law, and they established the educational foundation that would shape his legal career in Florida.
He joined Neufeld, Kleinberg & Pinkiert PA early in his career and became managing partner in 1978. That progression came quickly after law school. Over the decades he has remained associated with the same firm, steering administrative and case-related decisions while representing clients in matters that take him into courtrooms across the state.
Neufeld is an active member of bar and professional groups in Florida. He belongs to the Florida Bar and to the Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Section. He is also a member of the North Dade Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with peers and the trial bar. Within the community, he serves as president of the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Metro 6 Intracoastal Police Department and maintains memberships in civic organizations such as the North Miami Beach Optimist Club and programs that support Special Olympics.
Colleagues describe his role at the firm in straightforward terms: lawyer and manager. He has balanced casework and firm leadership. That balance has involved supervising younger attorneys, handling litigation tasks, and taking part in local bar activities. His long tenure at the same practice has also meant continuity for clients and an institutional memory that newer firms often lack.
Neufeld’s practice sits squarely in the Florida legal landscape. His memberships in trial-focused bar groups indicate an emphasis on litigation and courtroom work. He handles matters that require preparing cases for trial, managing pretrial procedures, and presenting arguments before judges and juries. He has also been involved in community advisory work tied to public safety, which has broadened his connections outside the courtroom.
Across a career that spans more than four decades, Neufeld has combined practice and civic service. He remains based at Neufeld, Kleinberg & Pinkiert PA, where his work continues to center on trial and litigation matters in Florida.
