About Jean
Jean Richardson built a career that moves from military service to private practice. She left the Air Force after twenty years and later completed law school. Her path merges operational experience, graduate business training, and legal education.
Richardson attended Park University, where she earned a B.S. in 1998. She continued her studies at Western New England College and received an MBA in 2001. Her military professional education includes Officer Training School and the Air Command and Staff College at Air University. She earned a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2015.
Her time in uniform framed much of her early professional life. Richardson served in the United States Air Force from 1992 until her retirement in 2012. That period included both operational assignments and leadership development. The experience left her familiar with military systems, organizational decision-making, and the demands of public service.
After law school she moved quickly into work that combined her backgrounds. While completing her legal studies and in the years that followed she participated in veteran-centered legal efforts. She was part of Stetson University College of Law’s Veterans Law Institute in 2015. She also served as a pro bono lawyer for a VA hospital from 2015 through 2018 and took part in the Gulf Coast Legal Foundation’s Private Lawyer Involvement Program in 2015. Those roles extended her practical experience in veteran and public-interest matters.
Richardson has been active in professional and community organizations. She held the presidency of Phi Delta Phi in 2014. She joined the US Foreign Relations Committee and the Veterans Law Institute in 2015. In 2019 she became a member of Business Networking International. These memberships reflect a mix of legal, civic, and networking interests rather than a single institutional focus.
In private practice she is associated with Richardson Law Group, PLLC, where she practices law in Florida. Her academic and service record shapes the work she does for clients, bringing military, managerial, and legal training together. Her practice continues to emphasize legal assistance for veterans and matters arising in her jurisdiction of Florida.
Today she maintains a practice at Richardson Law Group, PLLC, concentrating on matters that draw on her military background, business training, and legal education in Florida.
