About Alan Jay
Alan Jay Feldman earned his juris doctor from Rutgers School of Law in 1999 after completing his legal studies in the late 1990s. He arrived at law school prepared for courtroom work and finished his degree at Rutgers at the end of the decade. That formal training set the foundation for a practice that has been centered on litigation and bar activity for much of his career.
Following law school, Feldman moved into active practice and established his professional ties in Colorado. He is a member of the Colorado State Bar and carries membership number 31737, a designation he has held since 2000. He also holds the authority to practice law in New York. His professional memberships include longstanding participation in the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Pitkin County Bar Association, each of which lists him as a member beginning in 2000 and continuing to the present. Those affiliations have kept him engaged with the local bar community and trial-focused colleagues.
Feldman works from the offices of Feldman & Wertz, LLP. His firm affiliation places him among other litigators and counsel handling contested matters in state and regional courts. Over the years he has maintained an active role in trial practice, as reflected in his continued membership in trial-oriented professional organizations. He has balanced courtroom appearances with office-based work for clients, navigating procedural and evidentiary issues that arise in litigation. Colleagues describe him as a steady presence at hearings and trials, and his career has been marked by steady involvement in the bar associations that correspond to where he practices.
Today Feldman remains based at Feldman & Wertz, LLP and continues to be licensed in both Colorado and New York. He has kept his Colorado State Bar membership active since 2000 and remains engaged with the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Pitkin County Bar Association. His current practice centers on trial and litigation matters handled through his firm in Colorado and matters connected to his New York admission.
