About Adriana F.
Adriana F. Estevez earned her B.A. from The George Washington University in 2009 and completed her J.D. at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 2013. She entered law school after several years of work and internships that shaped her interest in family and children’s legal services. Her academic record is grounded in clinical work and practical placements that fed directly into her early legal work.
While at Columbus School of Law she served as a certified student lawyer in the Families and the Law Clinic, where she worked on matters for low-income clients. She also gained experience with organizations that serve vulnerable populations. During law school she interned with Ayuda and the Immigrant Children’s Legal Program at the U.S. Committee on Refugees and Immigrants. She volunteered at the Family Court Self-Help Center in Washington, D.C., and spent time with crisis and family services organizations prior to graduation.
After law school Estevez began her professional career as an associate at Yao Law Office, PC in 2013. Two years later she joined Woehrle Dahlberg Jones Yao, PLLC as a senior associate. She rose to a leadership role in 2019 when she became managing partner at Woehrle Dahlberg Jones Yao, PLLC, and is listed as managing partner at Woehrle Dahlberg Yao, PLLC in 2020. Her trajectory shows steady advancement from clinic and internship roles into firm leadership.
She holds certifications from the Supreme Court of Virginia as a guardian ad litem for children and as a guardian ad litem for incapacitated persons. Those credentials reflect court-approved authority to represent the interests of minors and adults who lack capacity in certain proceedings. They also align with her earlier clinic and volunteer experience in family and child-focused legal settings.
Estevez is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the American Bar Association. She has been active in the Fairfax Bar Association since 2013. Her professional affiliations keep her connected to local court systems and to peers who handle family and guardianship issues across Virginia.
Now in private practice, she combines courtroom experience and court-appointed guardian roles with firm leadership responsibilities. Her current practice focuses on family law, guardianship and related matters involving children and incapacitated persons.
