About Adam T.

Adam T. Funk built a practice that moves between courtrooms and conference rooms. He holds a J.D. from the University of Houston and earned a B.B.A. at the University of Texas at Austin. Those degrees shape how he looks at cases: legal arguments side-by-side with business realities.

Funk began his career after law school and progressed into leadership. He is the managing partner of Funk Law Group PLLC. In that role he oversees case strategy, client intake and the day-to-day operations of the firm. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the office and assertive in court.

He is admitted to practice in Texas and New Mexico and maintains active membership in both state bars. He also belongs to a number of professional organizations that concentrate on trial work and plaintiff advocacy. Those memberships include the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association.

Funk’s work involves litigation at multiple stages. He handles pretrial preparation, discovery disputes, and courtroom advocacy. He spends time drafting pleadings and motions, preparing witnesses and arguing before judges and juries. The firm’s caseload covers civil disputes that require both legal analysis and practical decision-making.

As managing partner, Funk balances client work with administrative responsibilities. He sets firm policies, supervises cases and coordinates with other attorneys on complex matters. The office emphasizes thorough preparation and responsiveness to clients’ questions. Funk continues to try cases when they reach trial and is regularly involved in settlement negotiations when resolution outside court is appropriate.

Outside the courtroom he maintains ties to the legal community through bar and association activity. Those connections keep him current on procedural developments and evolving trial tactics. He has remained in active practice while guiding the firm’s growth and adapting to changes in litigation practice.

He practices at Funk Law Group PLLC and represents clients in matters across Texas and New Mexico. He currently focuses his practice on litigation and trial work in those jurisdictions.
