Adam Allen Arant is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2007 and holds bar number 250078. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Arant is the founder and principal attorney at The Arant Law Group, APC, a law firm specializing in criminal defense located in San Jose, California. He has been practicing law for over 18 years, serving clients throughout the Bay Area, including San Jose, Fremont, Newark, and Union City.

Mr. Arant earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he participated in the Francis Carr Mock Trial Competition. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with honors and a 3.9 cumulative GPA. During his undergraduate studies, he was consistently named to the Dean's List and received the History Department's Citation for Academic Excellence.

Mr. Arant concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, DUI and DWI, sex crimes, and violent crimes. He represents individuals charged with a wide range of offenses, including drug crimes, theft, fraud, and internet crimes. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Arant has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at Diepenbrock Harrison, where he gained experience in civil and business litigation, labor and employment law, construction law, and environmental/land use law.

Mr. Arant is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He is also involved in community service, including leading a prison ministry known as Kairos at the California Medical Facility in Vacaville, working on behalf of disabled veterans at the Palo Alto VA Hospital, and participating in the San Jose Cursillo movement. He is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the Bay Area effectively.
