About Aaron
Aaron Watson earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2009. He entered law school after undergraduate studies and spent part of his time there gaining practical experience. A law clerkship during his studies exposed him to courtroom procedure and case preparation early in his career.
While still in law school, Watson served as a law clerk at Willie Gary Law in 2008. He joined Levin Law Office in 2009 as a lawyer and shareholder, moving quickly into roles that required both client contact and case management. In 2016 he opened his own practice, The Watson Firm, and has operated it since then as its owner.
Watson is admitted to practice in Florida and is also admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. His bar admissions inform the scope of the cases he can bring and the courts where he appears. Over the years he has handled matters that touch on state and federal procedure and has taken cases to trial and through complex pretrial stages.
Professional involvement runs through much of Watson’s public work. He holds board positions with the American Association for Justice and the Florida Justice Association. He serves on the First Circuit Lawyer Grievance Committee and sits on the board for a local Guardian ad Litem program. He is also an active member of the Escambia Santa Rosa Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association.
Colleagues describe Watson as a lawyer who concentrates on courtroom preparation and client advocacy. He has spent a significant portion of his practice litigating civil cases, handling discovery, depositions and motions practice, and preparing matters for trial. His practice requires regular coordination with experts and opposing counsel, and frequent appearances in state court.
At The Watson Firm he manages both casework and office operations. The firm represents individuals and pursues civil claims through litigation when necessary. Watson’s work involves counseling clients on procedural choices, assessing remedies, and steering cases through the litigation cycle.
Active in professional and community circles, Watson combines his bar work and board duties with the demands of running a law firm. He balances administrative responsibilities with client-facing litigation. He currently concentrates his practice on civil litigation and trial advocacy on behalf of individual clients.
