Aaron Todd Hicks is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in both California and Tennessee. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2004 and to the State of Tennessee in 2011. Mr. Hicks is the founding partner of Hicks Law Firm, a personal injury law firm with offices in Orange, California, San Diego, California, and Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Hicks earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2004. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. During his time at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he was actively involved in various legal organizations and developed a strong foundation in personal injury law.
Mr. Hicks concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury law, including cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries. He represents individuals who have sustained injuries in car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, as well as those injured in slip and fall incidents, dog bites, and pedestrian accidents. Throughout his career, Mr. Hicks has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the United States Supreme Court. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at Rizio & Nelson, a nationally recognized plaintiff personal injury firm, where he honed his skills in personal injury litigation.
Mr. Hicks is an active member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA), currently serving as its president for 2025. He has received multiple accolades from the association, including Member of the Year in 2017 and Board Member of the Year in 2019.
