About A. Duie
A. Duie Latta arrived at the law after studying philosophy. He earned a B.A. from Grove City College in 2000 and completed his J.D. at Villanova University School of Law in 2004. Those formative years set a pattern: careful analysis, measured argument, and an interest in practical problem solving rather than sweeping theory.
His early legal career led him into private practice. In 2007 he joined MacElree Harvey as a partner. He spent years working within the structure of a regional firm, handling client work and firm responsibilities. The partnership years gave him experience in managing matters and working with other lawyers on complex files.
In 2016 Latta struck out on his own and founded Clarion Law, LLC. He established the firm to offer a smaller, more flexible practice model. The move reflected an interest in controlling case strategy and client contact. It also returned him to a more client-facing role, where he could manage files from intake to resolution.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and maintains membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar. He has been a member of the Chester County Bar Association since 2007. Those affiliations anchor him in the state and local legal communities where he practices and where many of his clients are located.
Colleagues describe Latta as deliberate in his approach. He favors careful preparation and clear explanations. Over time he has handled the kinds of tasks common to private practice: counseling clients, preparing pleadings, negotiating resolutions, and pursuing litigation when necessary. He has also been involved in the administrative side of running a small firm and the client development work that comes with it.
Today Latta maintains his practice through Clarion Law, LLC in Pennsylvania. He focuses his work on representing clients in the state and managing the day-to-day legal and business matters that come through a small firm.
