About Zachary S.
Zachary S. Weinberg entered law after a steady course through the Midwest. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2017 and graduated from DePaul College of Law in 2021. Those years shaped his legal method: careful research, disciplined writing and an attention to procedure.
His legal education at DePaul placed him in Chicago's active legal community. Classrooms gave way to clinics, study groups and courthouse observations. He completed the curriculum during a time when recent graduates were expected to move quickly from theory to practice. That transition is evident in how he approaches client matters now.
After law school, Weinberg moved into practice in Illinois. He is licensed to practice in the state and maintains membership in the State Bar of Illinois. That membership keeps him connected to continuing legal education and the professional networks that sustain litigation practice in the region.
He joined Levin & Perconti as an associate. In that role he has handled a range of tasks typical for a litigation associate: legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, preparing discovery, and assisting in trial preparation. He also conducts client interviews and helps manage case files through the stages of litigation. The day-to-day work has given him exposure to case management and courtroom procedures.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and practical in the office. He approaches problems by breaking them into discrete steps, rather than assuming a single sweep will resolve them. That approach can be useful where deadlines and procedural rules shape outcomes as much as the facts themselves.
