About Zachary
Zachary Olah earned his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 2004 after completing a B.A. at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2001. Those years shaped the legal foundation he has carried through a steady practicing career in Ohio. His academic background sits at the start of a professional path that crosses public service and private practice.
Early in his career Olah served at the Franklin County Public Defenders in 2006. There he worked in a high-volume public office environment, handling matters that bring lawyers into courtroom practice quickly. That period gave him firsthand experience working on behalf of clients who rely on assigned counsel and introduced him to the rhythms of trial preparation and client representation under pressure.
Following his time with the public defenders, Olah joined Luftman, Heck & Associates LLP as a lawyer. At the firm he moved into private practice while drawing on the trial experience he developed in Franklin County. His work at the firm has kept him practicing inside Ohio courts and before local agencies, applying procedural and substantive rules in everyday client matters.
Olah maintains current professional memberships. He participates in bar and local legal groups that support attorneys practicing in the state. Those memberships keep him connected to peers and to continuing legal education opportunities that address changes in law and procedure.
