About Zachary A.

Zachary A. Deubler trained as both a student of law and of social behavior. He earned a B.S. in Criminology, Law and Society from George Mason University in 2009, then returned to George Mason University School of Law, completing his J.D. in 2016 with coursework in constitutional and criminal law. Those academic choices shaped the early contours of his practice.

He began his legal career immediately after law school. In 2016 he joined Whitestone|Young, PC as an associate lawyer. Three years later he moved to DiMuroGinsberg, PC, continuing in an associate role where he handled trial and appellate preparation. In 2023 he became a senior associate at Carmichael Ellis & Brock, PLLC. The timeline shows a steady progression into roles with greater responsibility and courtroom exposure.

Deubler is admitted to practice before several high-level tribunals. His jurisdictions include the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Those admissions indicate experience with both trial-level practice and appellate briefing. He also holds membership in the Virginia State Bar, where his status is current.

On the local and state level he participates in multiple bar organizations. He has been a member of the Fairfax Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association since 2016. He joined the Prince William County Bar Association in 2017. He is also a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. These affiliations reflect regular engagement with peers and the professional community across Northern Virginia and the state.

Colleagues describe him as steady in court and methodical in preparing cases. He spent his early years building trial skills and appellate practice tools. That background aligns with the academic emphasis he chose in law school: criminal and constitutional law.

Today he practices at Carmichael Ellis & Brock, PLLC, where he continues to handle matters that arise at trial and on appeal. He handles cases involving criminal defense, constitutional questions, and civil litigation in Virginia and before federal courts and tribunals where he is admitted to appear.
