About Zach N.

Zach N. Wallin approaches family law as a blend of courtroom advocacy and practical problem solving. He writes and speaks plainly. He prepares deeply. That combination shapes how he handles disputes and client conversations alike.

He began his academic journey at Brigham Young University, where he earned a B.S. in Business Marketing in 2000. That business grounding gave him a different lens on financial and property issues that often arise in family matters. He later attended Chapman University Fowler School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2012 and taking coursework in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. The law school experience added trial technique and structured negotiation to his skill set.

After law school Wallin entered private practice and concentrated on family law. Over the years he has balanced courtroom work and negotiated resolutions. He handles divorce proceedings, custody matters, property division questions, and related financial disputes. He prepares filings and evidence for court, and he also works toward settlements when those are in his clients’ interests.

His background in marketing and business shapes how he evaluates complex asset arrays and financial disclosures. He pays attention to numbers and documents. At the same time, his training in advocacy pushes him to test positions in court when necessary. That combination means he adapts his approach to each case rather than applying a single playbook.

Colleagues describe him as concise in hearings and thorough in preparation. He tends to prioritize clear communication with clients, explaining options and likely trade-offs. He also attends mediation sessions and other settlement forums, believing many disputes resolve more effectively when the parties can reach practical terms without prolonged litigation.

Today he practices at The Wallin Family Law Group. He continues to handle both contested court matters and negotiated resolutions for clients facing family law issues, using his business education and advocacy training to guide each case toward a practical outcome.
