About Yevgeny Gene
Yevgeny Gene Meltser earned his J.D. from DePaul College of Law in 1996. He entered practice in Illinois shortly after graduation and established a firm identity that would carry forward for decades. His legal education at DePaul provided a foundation in both doctrine and courtroom procedure.
Within three years of finishing law school he took on a leadership role at MELTSER LAW GROUP, becoming its principal in 1999. That step marked a shift from working under others to directing a small firm’s daily operations. As principal he has overseen case intake, staffing and client relations while maintaining an active docket.
His career has been built around hands-on practice and firm management. He has handled the practical demands of running a law office, from supervising associates to managing budgets and schedules.
