About Yechezkel

Yechezkel Rodal earned his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law. His legal education took place in Miami, where the curriculum and clinical programs emphasized practical courtroom skills and professional responsibility. Rodal's time at FIU placed him in a regional legal community that often intersects state and federal practice, shaping an early interest in litigation and appellate work.

After law school he secured admission to practice in Florida and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Those admissions allow him to appear in state courts across Florida and at the federal appellate level. Over the course of his career he has worked on matters that required attention to both trial procedures and appellate standards. He has developed experience filing briefs, handling motions, and preparing arguments for oral argument when appeals proceed past the trial court.

Rodal’s practice draws on skills commonly used in state and federal litigation. He handles procedural and substantive issues that arise at different stages of a case. That includes drafting pleadings and appellate briefs, researching governing precedent in the Eleventh Circuit, and advising clients on appellate strategy. He also navigates the procedural rules that differ between Florida courts and federal appellate practice, ensuring filings meet local and circuit requirements.

Colleagues and clients describe Rodal as methodical in his preparation. He favors clear legal writing and careful attention to deadlines. In complex matters he breaks issues into discrete questions that can be addressed on appeal. He balances the detail work of record review with a focus on persuasive legal theory when briefs are due.

Today Rodal practices in Florida and continues to maintain his admission to the Eleventh Circuit. He represents clients in matters that arise in state court and those that proceed to federal appellate review, concentrating his practice on litigation and appellate matters in those forums.
