About Wren Montgomery
Wren Montgomery Williams combines a liberal arts education and dual graduate degrees. She finished her undergraduate studies at Hampden-Sydney College in 2011, earning a B.A. in English with concentrations in rhetoric and creative writing. She then pursued a joint J.D. and M.B.A. at Samford University, completing those degrees in 2015. The pairing of law and business shaped her approach to legal work early on.
Her first court-side experiences came while she was still in law school. In 2014 she served as a law clerk at Leitman, Siegal, Payne & Campbell, P.C., where she performed research and supported case preparation. That role offered practical exposure to the day-to-day demands of litigation and transactional matters in a small-firm setting. The following year she joined Schneider & Williams, P.C. as an attorney and has remained there since.
Williams became a member of the Virginia State Bar in 2015 and is listed as a current member. She also accepted a seat on the board of Patrick Henry Community College the same year. Her service on that board has involved institutional governance and community engagement. Those roles place her at the intersection of legal practice and local educational leadership.
Colleagues describe her work style as methodical. She approaches problems by breaking them down and then addressing the parts in sequence. That practical method is visible in how she manages files and meets client deadlines. She draws on the analytical training of a liberal arts background and the technical training of her graduate programs.
At Schneider & Williams, P.C. she has taken on responsibilities typical of a small-firm attorney: client counseling, drafting documents, and courtroom preparation. The firm environment requires versatility. Early experience as a clerk and the combined law and business education have helped her handle a varied caseload and the administrative demands that come with it.
Outside the office she maintains involvement in professional and civic circles. Her board role at Patrick Henry Community College keeps her engaged with regional issues and local leaders. That engagement also informs her perspective on community needs and access to services.
She is a Virginia-licensed attorney and has practiced at Schneider & Williams, P.C. since 2015. She practices at Schneider & Williams, P.C., handling matters that draw on her legal and business training.
