About William Robert

William Robert Noelker earned his Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 2010. He built his legal foundation there and entered the profession as the new decade began. Classrooms and casebooks in law school gave him the basic tools he would later use in private practice.

He founded William R. Noelker Lawyer at Law, PLLC in 2010 and has served as the firm’s principal attorney since its inception. Establishing a solo practice shaped the early years of his career. He has managed the administrative and substantive demands of running a small firm while handling client matters personally.

Noelker’s professional memberships include the Kentucky Bar Association, the Kentucky Justice Association and the American Bar Association. He maintains current membership in each organization. Those affiliations connect him to peers across the state and the country and provide forums for continuing education and professional dialogue.

His admitted jurisdictions include the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. That pairing allows him to represent clients in state trial and appellate work as well as before the federal appellate court that covers Kentucky. He has handled matters that require familiarity with procedural and appellate rules across those forums.

The practical work of operating a solo practice has meant balancing courtroom appearances, brief writing and client counsel. Managing case files, filing deadlines and court procedures falls to Noelker as the firm’s lead lawyer. His practice reflects the daily demands of litigating in state courts and presenting issues in federal appellate proceedings when appeals arise.

Noelker works from an office located at 116 N. First Street. From there he meets clients, prepares filings and appears in court as needed. He currently practices as the founder of William R. Noelker Lawyer at Law, PLLC, handling matters in Kentucky state courts and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
