About William
William Beck is an attorney licensed in Colorado and admitted to the Tenth Circuit. He practices from Colorado and has moved between public-sector and private work since finishing law school. His resume mixes courtroom roles, small-firm practice and his own firm leadership.
Beck began his collegiate studies at Pikes Peak State College. He earned a Bachelor of Science in English Literature and Philosophy from Brigham Young University–Idaho in 2010. He then attended the University of Denver, where he completed a J.D. in 2013 and pursued coursework in public interest law while in law school.
His early legal work included a legal internship in 2013 with the Fourth Judicial District attorney’s office and work as a legal research analyst that same year. In 2014 he took a position as a deputy district lawyer in El Paso County’s Fourth Judicial District, where he gained courtroom exposure and daily case management experience. Those years provided a practical grounding in trial procedures and local practice norms.
After a stint as an associate handling criminal defense matters at Black & Graham, P.C. in 2016, Beck moved into private practice. He founded W.C. Beck Law, LLC in 2017 and the next year became managing partner and lawyer at Liberty Law Center. Over that period he has handled a mix of case intake, litigation strategy and court appearances. He has also been responsible for the administrative duties that come with running a small firm.
Outside pure legal roles, Beck’s background includes several nonlegal positions earlier in his career. He worked in retail loss prevention and as an on-site facilities manager before entering law school. Those jobs are reflected in the practical approach he brings to office management and client intake.
Beck has been a member of the Colorado Bar Association since 2010 and of the El Paso County Bar Association since 2014. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the Tenth Circuit. He currently practices at Liberty Law Center, handling criminal defense and related litigation matters.
