About Wilfred C. Driscoll
Wilfred C. Driscoll Jr. trained as a political science student before turning to the law. He earned a B.A. from Stonehill College in 1973 and a J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 1976. Those formative years set the stage for a long career practicing in Massachusetts courts and federal forums.
Early in his career Driscoll joined small local firms. He worked at the Law Offices of Luongo & Driscoll beginning in 1977, then moved to the Law Offices of Sokoletsky & Driscoll in 1979. That period established him in transactional and family law matters and led quickly to partnership opportunities. In 1979 he became a partner at the Law Offices of Driscoll & Marchand and continued in partner roles through the 1980s and 1990s as the firm evolved through several names and configurations.
By 1989 and again in the early 1990s he held partner positions at what became the Law Offices of Driscoll, Marchand, Boyer & Stanton. In 1997 the firm was listed as Driscoll, Marchand & Stanton Law Office, LLC. He later took ownership of his own practice, founding Driscoll Law in 2002. The record shows ongoing ties to local bar groups, including the Bristol County Bar Association and the Fall River Bar Association, and continuous membership in the Massachusetts Bar Association since 1977.
Driscoll is admitted in Massachusetts and has also been admitted to federal courts including the U.S. Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He holds a certification as a Massachusetts divorce mediator, a credential that complements his practice in family law matters. Those qualifications reflect a career spent largely on family and domestic relations work, mediation, and related litigation.
Colleagues and clients who have worked with him describe an attorney who has navigated the changing contours of family law over several decades. He has managed private practice, led partner teams, and continued to maintain an active roster of matters through shifting firm structures. He remains involved in local bar associations and state bar activities in Massachusetts.
As of 2026 he is associated with Driscoll Sanford Family Law. His current practice centers on family law and divorce mediation, handling cases in state and federal courts where appropriate.
