About Walker

Walker Fults built a legal path that began in the classroom and moved quickly into the courtroom. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political theory from Duke University in 2008. He then went on to law school at the University of Virginia, receiving a J.D. in 2012 and studying criminal law as part of his legal education.

After law school, Fults spent time clerking for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in 2012. That clerkship offered him direct experience with federal procedure, motion practice and the daily rhythms of a busy trial docket. The work exposed him to both written advocacy and courtroom procedure, and it framed his understanding of how cases move through federal court.

Early training and courtroom exposure shaped how he approaches matters now. He applies methodical case preparation and attention to procedural detail. He favors clear, plain language in filings and oral argument. Colleagues say he is pragmatic in evaluating risks and realistic about timelines. He has stayed active in professional circles and maintains current memberships in bar-related organizations.

Fults made a deliberate choice to practice in Texas. He is admitted to the Texas bar and has focused his career on handling matters that arise in state and federal settings. Over the years he has represented clients in hearings and pretrial proceedings and has handled the drafting and briefing that such matters require. He places emphasis on meticulous record review and on preparing witnesses for testimony.

He opened the Law Office of Walker Fults to provide a more personal legal setting. The office model allows him to manage a case from intake through resolution without layers of bureaucracy. He works directly with clients, drafts pleadings, negotiates where appropriate, and prepares for hearings. He also draws on his clerkship experience when addressing procedural issues that affect case strategy.

Outside the office he reads widely on criminal procedure and remains engaged with developments in Texas case law. He keeps up with practice updates and local court rules so that filings reflect current requirements. He aims to be practical, concise and thorough in his work.

He currently practices through the Law Office of Walker Fults and handles cases in Texas.
