About W. Charles
W. Charles Sipio graduated from Saint Joseph's University in 2009 with a degree in political science. He earned his J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2012 and began his legal career the following year. Early in his practice he worked at Kolman Ely P.C. in 2013, where he gained courtroom experience and exposure to client-side advocacy.
Sipio holds admissions in the U.S. Virgin Islands, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. He maintains memberships in several bar and professional organizations, including the D.C. Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association and the U.S. Virgin Islands Bar Association. He is also a current member of the National Employment Lawyers Association’s New Jersey chapter, a group that connects attorneys who represent employees in workplace disputes.
Those professional ties shape much of Sipio’s work. He has handled matters across multiple jurisdictions, preparing pleadings, taking depositions and arguing before trial courts. Colleagues describe him as methodical in discovery and attentive to procedural detail. He balances courtroom work with counseling clients on settlement options and risk assessment. He has worked on cases that required coordination across state and federal filings, including matters that involved the interplay between local statutes and federal employment protections.
His practice reflects a regional footprint. He represents clients in state and federal venues in the Mid-Atlantic and the U.S. Virgin Islands. That pattern requires staying current on differing procedural rules and on local court practices. It also means travel and coordination when cases span more than one jurisdiction.
Outside litigation, Sipio contributes to the professional community through association involvement. He participates in activities organized by bar groups and attends continuing legal education programs. These memberships give him regular contact with peers who handle similar types of claims and procedural challenges.
Sipio is an attorney at Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti P.C., where he continues his work on employment-related matters and civil litigation across his admitted jurisdictions. He currently represents clients in employment law matters across the U.S. Virgin Islands, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
