About Timothy S.

Timothy S. Seiler built his legal career quickly after law school and has spent the last decade-plus litigating in state and federal courts across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2013. The classroom years gave him the foundations of procedure and advocacy. He moved from study to practice without delay.

Within a year of graduation, Seiler joined Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C. He became a partner there in 2014. That early rise placed him on immediate responsibility for clients and case management. Over time he has taken on trials, motions practice and appellate work, often under tight deadlines and high stakes.

Seiler is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to the federal courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey, and to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Those admissions allow him to handle matters from trial through appeal in multiple forums. He regularly files briefs and appears in hearings at both the district and circuit levels.

Colleagues describe Seiler as methodical in preparing cases. He breaks complex filings into manageable steps and keeps clients informed about procedural milestones. In the courtroom he tends to favor direct, clear argument. His practice requires attention to procedural detail, and that is reflected in how he manages dockets, discovery and evidentiary issues.

Outside of litigation itself, Seiler’s work involves drafting pleadings, opposing and bringing motions, preparing witnesses, and coordinating with experts when needed. He has experience navigating both state court rules and federal practice standards. That dual familiarity can be useful when matters cross jurisdictional lines or when tactical decisions depend on differences between state and federal procedure.

Clients and peers see him as someone who handles the daily demands of contentious cases and pushes toward resolution when appropriate. He has handled matters that proceed to trial as well as those that settle after focused negotiation. He continues to practice at Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C., where his work centers on litigation in New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts.
