About Vincent Maxwell

Vincent Maxwell Bruner earned a B.S. in Hospitality Management and Business from Auburn University in 2010, then turned to law and received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2013. He followed a conventional path through law school: classroom study, internships, and then the leap into practice. The combination of a business undergraduate degree and a law degree shapes how he approaches clients and cases.

While he was a law student, Bruner spent time in two very different settings. In 2011 he interned at The Bruner Law Office, gaining early exposure to the routines of a small firm. The following year he worked in the Office of the State Lawyer, which offered a look at public-sector work and the procedural side of litigation. Those internships framed the early contours of a legal career that moved quickly into private practice.

By 2013 Bruner had taken on two professional titles. He began practicing as a lawyer at The Bruner Law Office and also served as the CEO of Sheepshead. Running a practice and a small company at the same time required juggling casework, client intake, and administrative tasks. The dual experience gave him a practical sense of how legal and business decisions intersect.

Bruner is licensed to practice in Florida. He holds memberships in the Florida Justice Association and the American Association for Justice, groups that serve lawyers who handle civil trials and advocate for access to the courts. Those associations provide continuing education, networking and forums for trial practice — professional ties that inform his work in the state.

Colleagues describe his background as blending courtroom exposure and small-firm care. His early internships gave him courtroom and office experience; his role as an in-house CEO introduced a different set of management responsibilities. That mix has shaped how he runs his office and how he prepares cases.

Clients and peers see a straightforward practitioner who manages the day-to-day demands of a law office in Florida. He has spent his entire post-law-school career building that practice, handling filing, motion work and client meetings, and maintaining professional affiliations that keep him connected to broader trends in trial work.

Bruner continues to practice through The Bruner Law Office in Florida. He currently practices at The Bruner Law Office in Florida, representing clients in state courts and managing the firm's legal work.
