About Victoria

Victoria Morales combines academic life and legal practice in a career that spans two countries and two disciplines. She earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Universidad de Costa Rica in 1999 and later completed a J.D. at Florida International University College of Law in 2011. Those degrees set the stage for work that moves between classrooms and courtrooms.

Her early career was rooted in academia. After finishing doctoral studies she taught at the Universidad de Costa Rica beginning in 1999. She later joined Broward College in 2002 and taught at Nova Southeastern University in 2006. More recently she added a position at Palm Beach State College in 2019. Students describe her lectures as rigorous and clear. Her academic record shows longstanding interest in ethics, argumentation and the history of ideas.

Morales shifted professional emphasis toward law after earning her J.D. She opened the Law Office of Victoria Morales, P.A. in 2012 and has practiced since then. Her practice grew to include federal admissions and memberships that expanded the range of matters she can handle. She gained admission to the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida and to the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2012. She later obtained membership in the US Tax Court in 2020, and in 2023 she added the US District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

The combination of philosophy and law informs her approach to legal problems. Teaching work required translating abstract ideas into practical classroom moments. In practice she applies the same habit: careful analysis, attention to definitions and a willingness to question assumptions. Colleagues note that her background in philosophy sharpens briefing and oral argument. Clients value clear explanations and methodical problem solving.

Her professional life splits between litigation admissions and teaching responsibilities. Throughout, she has maintained a steady presence in South Florida’s legal community. She represents individuals and entities in matters that require both legal and analytical rigor. She also continues to teach and publish occasionally on topics that bridge law and philosophy.

As of 2026 she continues to operate the Law Office of Victoria Morales, P.A., holds memberships in multiple federal courts, and teaches philosophy at the college level. Her current practice focuses on federal court matters and tax-related proceedings while she remains active in legal education and scholarship.
