About Veronica Bayó

Veronica Bayó Clifford built her legal foundation at Florida State University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the Panama City campus in 2005 and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2008. Those years set the stage for a career that moves between clerking, firm work and running a practice.

Her early years in the profession were spent in clerkships and small firm roles. In 2006 she worked as a law clerk at Gray Robinson, P.A. After law school she returned to a firm environment, taking a law clerk and assistant law office administrator position in 2008 at the Law Office of Metzger, Grossman, Furlow and Bayó, L.L.C. The next year she served in an of counsel capacity at the Law Office of Grossman, Furlow, and Bayó, L.L.C., a role that introduced more direct client work and case management responsibilities.

In 2013 she took the next step and founded Clifford Law Group. As founder and partner she has overseen the firm’s development and handled a range of matters on behalf of clients. Her practice is informed by her early administrative and office management experience, and by years spent handling casework in small firm settings. That background shapes how she organizes cases and interacts with clients.

Clifford is admitted to practice in both Florida and North Carolina. She holds memberships in the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Florida Bar Administrative Law Section, affiliations that reflect areas of professional interest and continuing education. Those memberships also signal regular engagement with developments in immigration law and administrative law.

Her day-to-day work mixes case preparation, hearings and client counseling. She handles immigration-related petitions and administrative matters, and she works with clients through procedural steps at state and federal levels. The practice requires attention to changing regulations and to procedural detail, and Clifford’s experience across clerking and firm roles feeds into that work.

Outside the office she has remained connected to professional organizations that align with the subjects she handles in practice. She has built a practice that sits at the intersection of immigration and administrative law, applying her courtroom and office experience to client needs. She currently practices immigration and administrative law at Clifford Law Group.
