About Vernon
Vernon Ready earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2006, where he completed coursework in trial practice. He finished law school the same year he joined national and state bar organizations. The trial practice training he pursued in Denver set a practical tone for his early legal work.
During law school and immediately after, Ready took on positions that exposed him to courtroom procedure and criminal defense. In 2007 he interned with the 4th Judicial District of Colorado. The following year he served as an intern at the Colorado Office of the Public Defender. Those experiences offered him direct observation of judges, trial preparation and client interactions.
By 2009 Ready had established his own practice. He is listed as a lawyer at The Law Office of Vernon Ready, LLC. That move placed him in private practice and gave him a platform to carry forward the trial skills he developed in law school and during his internships.
Professionally, Ready has maintained membership in several bar and trial organizations. He has been a member of the American Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association since 2006. He also belongs to the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, joining that group in 2013 and remaining a member. His jurisdictional practice is Colorado, where he is based and where his firm operates.
Colleagues and clients have identified Ready as a lawyer who arrived in private practice after a sequence of courtroom-facing roles at both the district and public defender levels. He built his practice around litigation and courtroom work rather than behind-the-scenes transactional law. That path reflects the trial practice training noted on his law school record and his ongoing association with trial-focused professional groups.
Ready maintains an office in Centennial, Colorado, where he conducts his private practice. He continues to practice through The Law Office of Vernon Ready, LLC. His current practice focuses on trial work in Colorado.
