About Vatche
Vatche Zetjian trained on two California campuses. He earned a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego in 2003 and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2006. Those degrees set the stage for a career spent largely inside the state's courts and federal districts.
After law school, Zetjian built a practice that spans both state and federal jurisdictions. He is admitted to the State of California and to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California. That admission roster has allowed him to handle filings and appearances across the state at different trial and motion stages.
He serves as Of Counsel at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP. In that role he provides legal support and counsel on matters that require appearances in California trial courts and the state’s federal districts. His responsibilities at the firm include preparing briefs, advising on procedural strategy, and appearing in court when required by case circumstances.
Zetjian's career reflects steady involvement in local bar activities. He holds membership in the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where he maintains professional ties and keeps current on developments that affect litigation practice in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. That local engagement complements the multi-district federal admissions that populate his daily docket.
Colleagues describe him as deliberate in courtroom preparation and exacting in document work. He balances practical courtroom experience with written advocacy. Those skills serve clients whose matters require familiarity with California procedural rules and the differing practices of federal districts within the state.
He continues to base his practice at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP, where he handles matters brought in California courts and in the federal districts that cover the state. His current practice handles cases in California and before the state's federal district courts.
