About Vance Paul

Vance Paul LeBourgeois built a legal path that moves between in-house counsel work, municipal legal services and private practice. He earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2012 after completing undergraduate studies in history and philosophy at Texas A&M University, where he received his B.A. in 2008. Those academic years framed an early interest in both public service and the business side of law.

His practical training began while he was still in law school. He served as a summer associate at the Law Offices of Alan L. Williams in 2010 and held multiple internships in 2011, including positions with the City and County of San Francisco and the Sunnyvale City Lawyer’s Office. That same period included a role at LexisNexis, where he worked as an associate handling legal research and content projects. After graduation he moved into an in-house role as General Counsel for Insurance Network Of Texas in 2012, a post that exposed him to the operational demands of corporate legal work. In 2014 he joined the Law Offices of Christie A. Leary, P.C. as an associate, a position he has maintained while practicing in the region.

LeBourgeois is licensed to practice in both Texas and Virginia. He has been active in local and state bar groups since the early 2010s. His memberships include the Fairfax Bar Association, the Prince William Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association, each held since 2014. Earlier in his career he belonged to the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Austin Bar Association and the Texas A&M Aggie Bar Association, and he volunteered with Volunteer Legal Services during the 2012–2013 period.

Colleagues describe his résumé as varied rather than narrowly specialized. His in-house stint at Insurance Network Of Texas gave him direct exposure to insurance-related legal matters and corporate counsel responsibilities. His municipal internships provided front-line experience with local government legal work and regulatory questions. The LexisNexis role added a layer of legal research and written-analysis experience that continues to inform how he approaches case preparation and client advisement.

He practices as an associate at the Law Offices of Christie A. Leary, P.C., where he handles matters that reflect his background in insurance-related issues, municipal law matters and legal research support. He remains active in regional bar organizations and continues to split his time between client work and professional association participation.
