About Tyler John
Tyler John Therriault writes complex legal arguments and spends long hours in file review. He brings a methodical, courtroom-minded approach to everyday practice. His path to law began at Dickinson College, where he completed dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and history in 2000. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers University–Camden in 2007.
After law school, Therriault moved into a courthouse role. In 2008 he served as a judicial law clerk to President Judge Joseph P. Cronin, Jr. at the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. The work gave him daily contact with trial procedure and the mechanics of case management. He spent 2009 as a law clerk at Donaghue & Labrum, LLP, the firm where he later became an associate attorney.
Therriault has practiced on both sides of the courthouse bench and applied those early experiences to civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His court work covers pleading, motion practice, depositions and trial preparation. He has handled matters that require jury presentation and bench argument, and he is familiar with the schedules and expectations of county-level trial courts in the region.
Much of his current caseload concerns personal injury matters. He represents individuals affected by motor vehicle collisions, premises liability incidents, and other serious injury events. His work involves investigation, medical record analysis, and negotiating settlements, as well as preparing cases for trial when settlement is not possible. Casework often requires coordinating with medical providers, vocational experts, and accident reconstruction specialists.
Therriault maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He is active in the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association. He also belongs to plaintiff-oriented groups including the National Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and the Delaware County Trial Lawyers Association. Since 2015 he has been a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Colleagues describe him as steady and attentive to procedural detail. He draws on his clerkship background when crafting motions and trial strategies. Outside the courtroom he spends time reviewing case law and medical literature to support client claims. He is a lawyer at Donaghue & Labrum, LLP and continues to handle civil litigation matters. His current practice focuses on representing plaintiffs in motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, and other personal injury matters.
