About Tripp
Tripp Wiles built a career that moves between military-style discipline and academic study. He earned a B.A. from The Citadel in 1991, followed by an M.A. from Hawaii Pacific University in 1999. He completed his legal training at the University of Memphis, receiving his J.D. in 2004.
After law school, Wiles established himself in South Carolina. He holds current membership in the State Bar of South Carolina and has practiced in the state for years. In 2008 he took on a leadership role at Wiles Law Office and has served as the firm's managing member since then.
Wiles's role as managing member has combined casework, firm administration and client relations. He oversees the office’s daily operations and handles a range of client matters. Colleagues describe him as steady and methodical in how he approaches both litigation and transactional work. He also plays a role in mentoring less-experienced lawyers who come through the office.
His academic background is varied. The Citadel provided an undergraduate foundation that often shapes how he approaches strategy and leadership. A master’s degree from Hawaii Pacific University introduced a broader perspective before he returned stateside to pursue his law degree. The combination of those experiences informs how he organizes a practice and counsels clients.
Outside the office, Wiles maintains a continuing relationship with the State Bar of South Carolina. He keeps up with the bar’s requirements and remains active in the association as a current member. That steady involvement supports the administrative side of running a law firm and ensures compliance with state rules.
Wiles Law Office has operated under his management for nearly two decades. The firm provides legal services to clients across South Carolina from its established local base. Wiles balances courtroom preparation and negotiated resolutions, depending on what each client’s matter requires.
He continues to lead Wiles Law Office and to serve clients in South Carolina. He currently concentrates his practice through Wiles Law Office, serving clients across South Carolina.
