About Travis R.

Travis R. Walker earned his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2006. He entered the legal profession at a time of change in the state courts. The degree set the stage for a practice rooted in local institutions and community boards.

Early in his career he worked as a lawyer at Weiss, Handler, Angelos and Cornwell, P.A. in 2008. That role came after his law school graduation and was an early entry point into private practice. He has been active in bar groups and local legal organizations since those formative years.

Walker joined the Florida Bar Association in 2007 and maintains that membership. He also holds membership in the United States District Court and in the Port St. Lucie legal community, where he served as president of the Port Saint Lucie Bar Association from 2010 to 2011. In 2015 he added membership in the Washington State Bar, expanding his professional connections beyond Florida.

His civic and nonprofit work runs parallel to his legal work. Walker has been vice chair of the Hibiscus Children’s Center since 2018. He also has current ties to the St. Lucie County Education Foundation. Those roles reflect ongoing involvement in local organizations that work with children and education.

Over the years Walker has moved from associate roles into running his own office. He practices from The Law Offices of Travis R. Walker, P.A. That office serves clients in the region and provides a base for his litigation and courtroom work.

Across his memberships and leadership posts, Walker’s career shows steady participation in both bar institutions and community boards. He balances court-related memberships with nonprofit governance. That combination has shaped how he approaches client matters and community service.

As of 2026, Walker continues to hold memberships in the Florida Bar Association (2007–Current), the Washington State Bar (2015–Current), and the United States District Court. He remains active in local education and children's services through the St. Lucie County Education Foundation and the Hibiscus Children’s Center.

His current practice focuses on representing clients in matters before Florida state and federal courts.
