About Travis J.
Travis J. Mehler grew up academically oriented toward international commerce and law. He earned a bachelor's degree in international business from Saint Louis University in 2006, a credential that shaped how he approaches legal questions that touch on cross-border elements and commercial complexity. He carried that interest into legal study and built a layered academic record in law over several years.
He completed legal training at Saint Louis University School of Law, receiving a J.D. in 2009. He later attended Stetson University College of Law and received a second J.D. in 2011. Those years in two different law schools exposed him to distinct regional practices and curricular emphases. Classwork, clinical programs and interactions with practitioners in both settings informed his legal technique and professional perspective.
After law school Mr. Mehler established his practice in Florida. He serves as a lawyer at Savage Villoch Law, PLLC. In that role he works on a variety of matters that arise under Florida law. His practice includes advising clients, preparing filings and appearing before courts and administrative bodies when necessary. He represents individuals and organizations at different stages of disputes and transactions, moving from intake and strategy to resolution.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in the way he assembles facts and frames legal arguments. His background in international business shows in the questions he asks about contracts and cross-jurisdictional concerns. The two law degrees give him familiarity with differing procedural approaches and statutory interpretations, and he draws on that experience when assessing case strategy or drafting legal documents.
Outside the office he remains connected to developments in Florida law and to continuing legal education opportunities. He follows changes in regulations and decisions that affect the clients he serves. He maintains the professional obligations required of a lawyer practicing in Florida and adapts his practice to reflect shifting legal and business conditions.
He is currently a lawyer at Savage Villoch Law, PLLC, where his practice concentrates on matters arising under Florida law.
